The Quinault Indian Nation has built a $16.3 million, 30,000 square foot Generations Building as the first phase in relocating the low-lying town of Taholah, WA. This community, located at the mouth of the Quinault River, is at increased risk of natural disasters as a result of climate change-related sea level rise. This new facility opened in May 2021 and houses QIN’s head start programs, day care, senior programs, adult education, management information systems and recreation programs.
