Ho-Chunk Inc. Live/Work Building
Ho-Chunk Village is a master-planned, walkable community in Winnebago, Nebraska. Ho-Chunk Inc (HCI) is the economic development wing of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. HCI has been phasing the development of Ho-Chunk Village for more than a decade. CNCDE provided $2 million in NMTC allocation to this housing and retail project. Its total development cost was $3.75 million. This investment resulted in 28,346 square feet of new commercial and residential space. The project includes office space, retail space, 2,963 square feet of warehouse space and 5 market rate units and 2 affordable units.
